I don't think this is busy at all - it's fascinating. It makes me think of Deleuze & Guattari who (when they weren't being completely annoying) wrote some very cool stuff about the Baroque figure of the fold as the foundation for everything modern, from calculus to architecture. That's what this looks like to me.
Spectacular Rolf! Really love the spiral cylinder series... Began to see the bioforms as 30' high instead of 30" - which may not be such a good thing. i also see them as crystalizations of ideas that are evolving. Paul
